So, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad visits Columbia to make an address and gets a rough reception from university president Lee Bollinger and a whole crowd of protesters.
Now, I know that his pass to address the UN only lets him stray within a 25-mile radius of Columbus Circle, but I sure wish he had come to Columbus, Ohio...

Um yes, I was there at the time, trying to see the premiere of a new TV movie about Caravaggio at the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America (Am I the only one who finds that name ungrammatical?). There was some crazy police presence and internationalist glamour. But that is not for everyone and Columbus is or some.
